About

One thing, done properly, since 2022.

Recognize Technologies is an SAP practice of around 150 people, based in Pune and delivering for clients across India and further markets. We do not run adjacent practices, and we do not learn your industry on your budget. SAP is the only thing we do.

Founded 2022

Built deliberately as a specialist practice rather than a general IT firm.

Around 150 people

Deep enough to staff a programme properly, small enough that your account matters.

SAP only

No competing practice pulling senior people onto something else.

Why we exist

Almost nobody chose the SAP landscape they are running.

They inherited it. Someone else designed it, several people have changed it since, and the person responsible today is holding something they were never fully handed. That produces a quiet reluctance to touch anything, and the reluctance is expensive.

It costs money nobody decided to spend

Data grows, licences step up, and old systems stay switched on for a lookup somebody occasionally needs. None of it was a decision.

It costs decisions that get deferred

When a landscape is not understood, every change feels risky, so changes get postponed until a deadline forces them at the worst possible moment.

And the people who could fix it are elsewhere

A mid-sized estate is rarely the most important account on a large partner's list. The seniority appears in the pitch and moves on by month four.

We want SAP to feel like something a company can work with, rather than something it has to survive.

Our purpose

Where we are going

Vision and mission.

The vision describes the market we are working towards. The mission is what we do every week to get there, written so that it can be failed.

Vision

A market where a mid-sized enterprise gets the same quality of thinking that the largest ones take for granted.

Not the same scale. The same standard. The same seniority in the room when the hard question comes up, the same rigour before the decision, and the same people still there a year after go-live.

Mission

We take mid-market and enterprise teams from ECC to S/4HANA, and stay on the account afterwards.

Senior consultants on the critical path. A costed business case before commitment. Data cleaned and reduced before it moves. A team that is still there after the go-live weekend has passed.

What we hold to

Six things that decide how we work.

These are not values on a wall. Each one costs us something, which is the only reason to write it down.

Seniority on the critical path

The people you meet before you sign are the people on the build. It limits how many programmes we can run at once, and we would rather run fewer.

A number before a commitment

Every engagement starts with an assessment that produces a costed business case. Sometimes that assessment tells you to do less than you were about to.

Reduce before you migrate

Data work comes before the conversion, not after it. It makes the migration smaller, which makes our own scope smaller too.

Stay after go-live

Legacy systems retired, duplicate licensing removed, and the same team on the account a year later. Go-live is a milestone, not an exit.

Say the difficult thing early

If the template is wrong, if the timeline will not hold, if the answer is to wait a year, we say so at the point it is still useful.

One team across the lifecycle

Advisory, build, integration, licensing and support under one roof, so nothing falls into the gap between two vendors.

How we work

The same four stages, every time.

Whatever the engagement, the shape is the same. The assessment comes first because a decision made without a number is a guess.

Stage one

Assess

We map your landscape, your data volume and a hard business case. You get a number and a timeline before you commit to anything.

Stage two

Design

Target architecture, scope and approach, with data reduction planned in from the first day rather than bolted on later.

Stage three

Implement

We build, migrate, test and go live, with senior consultants sitting on the parts of the project where things actually go wrong.

Stage four

Support & optimise

Legacy systems decommissioned, duplicate licensing retired, and the landscape run so it keeps getting leaner to operate.

Where we work

Based in Pune. Delivering rather further.

Our practice is in Bhosari, Pimpri Chinchwad, and most of our work is with Indian mid-market and enterprise organisations. We also deliver for clients in further markets, remotely and on site, with the same team rather than a separate offshore unit.

  • Manufacturing, automotive, chemical and industrial estates.
  • Mid-market and lower enterprise, where a specialist matters most.
  • ECC estates facing the 2027 deadline.
  • Organisations that already went live and now need the cost under control.

Why there are no names here

You will not find consultant profiles or a client logo wall on this site. That is deliberate. Our people are the reason clients hire us, and publishing a directory of them is an invitation to everyone recruiting in this market.

Client names stay off the site for the same reason of discretion, and because most of the work we do is not something a CIO wants advertised.

You will meet the actual team before you sign anything, and we will name them in the proposal. That is the right place for it.

The first conversation is short.

Tell us what you are running and what is worrying you. We will come back with the options, what each one costs and how long it takes. No obligation to go further.
