Managed Services

After go-live is when the system actually has to work.

Most support arrangements keep a landscape alive and nothing more. Ours is built to make it cheaper and simpler to run each year, with extended-hours cover, senior engineers on the queue, and a roadmap that gets reviewed rather than filed.

Extended-hours cover

Beyond the standard working day, with an agreed escalation path.

Senior engineers on the queue

The person who answers is qualified to fix it, not to triage it.

Predictable cost

An agreed envelope, with change requests scoped openly rather than billed by surprise.

The problem

Support that only keeps the lights on is a slow, expensive decline.

A landscape that is maintained but never improved gets heavier every year. The tickets stay steady, the cost creeps, and the roadmap quietly stops existing.

First-line cannot fix anything

A queue staffed to triage rather than to resolve turns every real issue into a two-day relay before it reaches someone who can help.

The estate grows and nobody owns it

Data volume, unused custom code and retired interfaces all accumulate under a support contract that has no mandate to remove them.

Knowledge left with the project team

When the build team walks away at go-live, the support team spends the first year learning what the build team already knew.

Cost is unpredictable

Change requests priced individually, with no envelope, make the annual number impossible to forecast and awkward to defend.

Support should make a landscape cheaper to run each year, not merely survivable.

What we hold ourselves to after go-live

What we do

What is covered.

Functional and technical under one agreement, so nothing sits in the gap between an application partner and an infrastructure partner.

Functional application support

Incident resolution across finance, logistics, supply chain and the modules you actually run, by consultants who know the processes.

Basis and cloud operations

System administration, performance, transports, patching and cloud operations across the landscape.

Enhancements and change requests

Small change delivered continuously inside an agreed envelope, rather than saved up into an annual project.

Monitoring and preventive work

Proactive checks on performance, jobs, interfaces and growth, so problems surface before users report them.

Release and patch management

Planned updates with regression coverage, so staying current stops being an annual crisis.

Continuous optimisation

Data volume, unused code and licence position reviewed on a cycle, with the savings reported rather than assumed.

How it runs

Four phases, and the first one is not support.

A transition done properly is the difference between a support partner who knows your landscape and one who is still guessing in month nine.

  1. 1

    Transition

Knowledge capture, documentation, access and a shadowing period before we take the queue.

  2. 2

    Stabilise

The first ninety days: clear the backlog, fix the recurring causes, and get response times where they should be.

  3. 3

    Run

Steady-state support at agreed service levels, with monthly reporting you can read in five minutes.

  4. 4

    Improve

A quarterly review that names what to remove, what to automate and what to upgrade next.

Who this is for

This is the right page if any of these are true.

  • You are approaching go-live and have not decided who runs it afterwards.
  • Your current support contract resolves tickets but never improves anything.
  • SAP knowledge in-house sits with one or two people and that worries you.
  • Your annual SAP running cost is hard to forecast and harder to defend.
  • You want the build team and the support team to be the same team.

What this does not do

This is extended-hours cover with an agreed escalation path, not a 24 by 7 operations centre. If you need follow-the-sun cover with round-the-clock staffing, we are not the right fit and will say so at the first conversation.

Managed services also will not rescue a system that was implemented badly. If the root cause is design, we will scope the remediation separately rather than absorb it into a support fee.

Often bought with

These usually come up in the same conversation.

Talk to us before go-live, not after.

The best transitions start while the build team is still in the room. Tell us where you are and we will scope the cover you actually need.
