Who we are
Recognize Technologies is an enterprise SAP delivery firm based in Pune, India. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Recognize Technologies.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act), we act as the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here, and you are the Data Principal.

This policy covers this website. It does not cover personal data we process on behalf of a client during a delivery engagement. In that situation we act as a processor and our obligations are set by the contract with that client, not by this policy.
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information, and we keep both to a minimum.
Information you give us
When you complete the enquiry form or email us, we receive your name, work email address, and optionally your company, phone number, what SAP landscape you are running, and whatever you write in the message field.
If you apply for a role, we receive whatever you send to our careers address, which is usually a CV and a covering note.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. These are generated by the act of serving the page and are used for security and troubleshooting.
If you accept analytics and advertising cookies, we also receive usage data through Google Analytics and Google Ads. If you do not accept them, those cookies are not set and that data is not collected. See Cookies and analytics below.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data through this website, and we ask that you do not include any in the message field.
Why we collect it
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Enquiry form and email contents | To reply to your enquiry and, if it goes further, to scope and discuss work. Processed on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the form. |
| Job applications | To assess your application and contact you about it. |
| Server logs | To keep the site secure and available, and to diagnose faults. This is a legitimate operational necessity. |
| Analytics and advertising data | To understand which pages are useful and to measure advertising. Only processed with your consent. |
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Cookies and analytics
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. We use as few as we can.
Always active
One local storage entry, recognize-consent, records the choice you made in the cookie banner so we do not ask again on every page. It contains only the words all or essential. Nothing about you is stored in it and it is not shared with anyone.
Only with your consent
| Cookie group | Set by | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4 | Which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and how they move through the site. Used in aggregate. |
| Advertising | Google Ads | Measuring whether an advertisement led to an enquiry, and reducing wasted advertising spend. |
These load only after you select "Accept all". Until then they are blocked using Google Consent Mode, which means the tags are not merely hidden, they do not run.
Changing your mind
To withdraw consent, clear your browser's site data for this domain. The banner will appear again on your next visit and you can choose differently. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings; the site works without them.
Who we share it with
A small number of service providers process data on our behalf so that this site can operate. They act on our instructions and may not use the data for their own purposes.
| Provider | What they handle |
|---|---|
| Our hosting provider | Serving the website, storing files and generating server logs. |
| Our email provider | Receiving and storing enquiry emails and job applications. |
| Google (Analytics and Ads) | Usage and advertising measurement, only where you have consented. |
Some of these providers operate in more than one country, which means your data may be processed outside India. We will also disclose personal data where we are legally required to do so.
How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Enquiry form submissions and related email | 24 months from the last contact, unless the enquiry becomes a client relationship, in which case it is retained under the engagement contract. |
| Job applications | 12 months from receipt, unless you ask us to remove them sooner. |
| Server logs | 30 days. |
| Analytics data | As configured in Google Analytics, currently the standard retention period. |
| Consent record | Until you clear your browser storage. |
These periods are deliberate. Keeping personal data longer than it is needed is an obligation under the DPDP Act as well as an unnecessary cost, and it would be inconsistent for a firm that advises clients on retention to ignore it here.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, as a Data Principal you have the right to:
- obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, completed or updated;
- have your personal data erased where it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for;
- withdraw consent you previously gave, at any time;
- nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity;
- raise a grievance with us, and escalate it if you are not satisfied.
To exercise any of these, email enquire@recognizetech.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting, to be sure we are not disclosing someone else's data to you.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also have rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, including data portability and the right to object to certain processing. The same address handles those requests.
Grievance redressal
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, tell us first. We would rather fix it than have you escalate.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India in accordance with the DPDP Act.
Children's data
This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change, when the law changes, or when we add or remove a service provider. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected in the banner shown to new and returning visitors.
This policy has been written to be accurate and complete for how this website operates. It is not legal advice, and it should be reviewed by qualified counsel before you rely on it for compliance purposes.
